Description

As the Strategic Planning Manager for Global Seed Operations Support, you will be responsible for developing and executing both short- and long-term projects that align with the global and regional goals supporting the Global Seed Operations strategy. You will work closely with the Senior Leaders, Global Strategic Planning Manager, Seed Production & Supply Chain teams, and Global Operations teams to identify, prioritize, and execute key initiatives and projects.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with Senior Leadership and other stakeholders to develop and execute projects and processes for Global Seed Operations ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Analyze business trends, opportunities, and risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives that will drive operational excellence, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to Senior Leadership on progress against strategic goals and objectives.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategic initiatives.
  • Lead both independent and group projects

Qualifications

What Skills You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, operations, engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a strategic planning role in manufacturing operations, preferably within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities with the ability to develop and execute on departmental goals aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.
