Description

The Sales Representative must work in the field performing tasks aimed at distribution channels, rural customers, sales, customer acquisition, research and experiments in the field, guidance on physiological, nutritional and biological management.

Activities

  • Be responsible for customer and employee relations based on the values defined by Corteva Biologicals.
  • Propose solutions together with the Manager of periodic visits to distributors and end customers, with the aim of understanding needs and offering solutions after analysis.
  • Carrying out an initial analysis with the support of the Prospecting Manager of new customers in the region of operation.
  • Carrying out Distributor Management, with the support of the Manager.
  • Carrying out the Corteva Biologicals Action Plan within the quality standards established by the company, with the support of the Market Developer (MD).
  • Being responsible for the sales process: including the order, planning delivery within the necessary timeframe and monitoring payment for the order.
  • Setting up demonstration areas, monitoring development, applications and harvesting with excellence, sending the results to the company and customers, with the help of the departments
    involved.
  • Contributing to the flow of information between clients and the company, anticipating problems and actively participating in discussions of alternative solutions with managers and company
    departments (teamwork).
  • Ensuring the timely submission of reports (activities, visits and outlets) and the prior weekly schedule of activities.
  • Contributing to collaboration with all the company’s departments: meeting requests on time with quality, sharing results and good practices, critical analysis and communication initiative (teamwork).
  • To train technically in order to become a benchmark in the region.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of knowledge through training actions for the distribution system, end users and influencers in its region of operation, in line with the MD.
  • Contribute to after-sales activities, ensuring the efficiency and performance of products in the field.

Qualifications

  • Degree: Agronomist.
  • Residence in Chihuahua (northern area desirable)
  • Experience in concepts of Physiology, Plant Nutrition and Biology (BNF and Biological Control); Notions of management of the main crops grown in the region: Apple, Corn, Alfalfa, Beans, Watermelon, Chili.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Stoller Portfolio, its characteristics, functions and benefits; Intermediate
  • in the methodology for setting up, conducting and harvesting demonstration fields; Intermediate in public presentation techniques that are clear, assertive and aligned with the company’s objective.
  • Ability to tailor the message/presentation to the target audience.
  • Ability to identify scenarios and correlate them with opportunities, Ability in sales and territory management techniques.
  • Effective use of computers and MS Office.
