Description

The Corporate Accountant will be the financial support for performing the complete accounting cycle in compliance with established practices and generally accepted accounting principles.

Activities

  • Ensures financial statement are prepared in accordance with Local (NIFs) and US GAAPs.
  • Performs detailed review to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
  • Responsible for general ledger accounting review and monthly end closing management.
  • Provides executive level financial statements with metrics and guidance.
  • Audits accounting data and identify and errors.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with the rest of the accounting, and all other corporate departments like taxes to ensure cohesive support.
  • Leads the overall year-end closing and preparation of the annual reviewed financial statements and tax returns.
  • Supports the annual tax report and fulfill the tax annexes related to accounting.
  • Conducts reconciliations and perform validations and approval / Submit reconciliation reports and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Public Accounting or Accounting Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 years’ experience in similar positions.
  • Desirable Big 4 firm experience (PWC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte).
  • SAP experience.
  • English 80%.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team worker.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Disciplined to follow procedures.
  • Initiative and can-do attitude.
  • Ownership.
