Description
The Accounting Analyst maintains general ledgers and performs the complete accounting cycle in compliance with established practices and generally accepted accounting principles.
Adheres to internal control policies and procedures; analyzes data and translates into meaningful information; provides management and financial statement users with relevant, comparable, and accurate data on which to base decisions; continuously improves and serves as a resource in their area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- General ledger management.
- Providing executive level financial statements with metrics and guidance.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the rest of the Accounting, and all other corporate departments to ensure cohesive support.
- Ensure financial statement are prepared in accordance with GAAP.
- Submit reconciliation reports and analysis.
- Prepare manual journal entries for journalizing all bank, credit card, and loan activity.
Qualifications
- Public Accounting or Finance Degree.
- 1-3 years’ experience in similar positions.
- Desirable SAP experience.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attentive to detail.
- Team worker.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- English proficiency.
