Corteva Agriscience is currently hiring for a District Sales Manager for its Crop Protection Business in California and Arizona. The District Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing Corteva’s market share and volume of all crops sold in the district while selling within company and sales program guidelines.

This is a remote position and preference is that it is based in Fresno, California area. If hired, you will be required to travel as necessary to support business activities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supporting and enabling sales of Corteva products through distribution and retail partners.
  • Responsible for training and supporting sales team in a way that maximizes efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide sales forecasts throughout the year as requested.
  • Help develop and execute area and geographic strategy.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of district to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Lead territory planning process and follow through.
  • Recruit top talent.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

  • B.S. Degree and 7+ years related sales and/or agriculture experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory & troubleshooting skills
  • Strong, effective communication skills
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Visa sponsorship and international relocation are NOT available for this position

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $121,740 – $186,270 yearly. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
