Join us at Corteva Agriscience for an exciting and impactful 3-month internship opportunity with our EIT Department in Johnston, IA, or Indianapolis, IN. Accepted candidates will work closely with our team in one of 5 major areas:

Cyber (Security) in Johnston, IA or Indianapolis, IN: Examine Cyber metrics, Key Performance Indicators, Key Risk Indicators, and other performance metrics. Determine opportunities to improve existing metrics, develop new metrics, and automate metric processing and display.

Cyber (Security)—Regulatory Compliance & Controls in Johnston, IA: Work with the team to review ServiceNow indicator tasks and evidence/documentation to support the Corteva IT General Controls for the SOX IT audit. We’d be specifically interested in someone with a MIS and accounting background to have them learn about the second line of defense.

Quality, Productivity & Effectiveness in Johnston, IA or Indianapolis, IN: Analysis of opportunities in Corteva spend; Gen AI/automation work within vendor performance to connect application and roadmap data to spend data; or AI Bot to answer questions on all IT contracts/SLAs, vendors, etc.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in Johnston, IA: Engage as an extension of the ERP-Finance team and work with the Finance/Controllership business stakeholders to develop and implement specific fERP business process improvements using SAP or non-SAP technologies.

Infrastructure, Operations, and Cloud Services in Johnston, IA: Work with the Teams to jot down the alerts in all the DB platforms. Document them and categorize them into 3 different buckets: Critical, Nuisance, and Warning. Work with the team to ensure more than 50% of these alerts get closed automatically, 30% or more of them need to get auto-resolved/auto-closed, and less than 20% of the alerts can be worked over and closed manually.

  • Provide summaries and reports to supervisor(s) and present results in company or outside meetings when necessary.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate program with a minimum of 3.0 GPA in any of the following disciplines: IT security, data science, computer science, finance, and closely related fields.

  • Must be enrolled for Fall 2025 at a US-accredited institution.

  • Must have completed at least one year of studies before starting the internship.

  • Must be willing to commute or relocate to Johnston, IA, or Indianapolis, IN, for the duration of the internship.

  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

  • Creative thinking and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge and experience in general IT operations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and experience in databases or LIMS systems is a plus.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $15.00 – $32.50 hourly. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
