These full-time, benefits-eligible roles are the perfect transition into a civilian career at Corteva.
My experience with Corteva allowed me to work with team members who are doing exactly the type of work that aligns with my passion and skill set. Receiving validation that my dreams and goals are attainable was an incredibly valuable experience that left me energized and excited to begin my career with Corteva Agriscience™.
Corteva Agriscience™ exposed me to all aspects of manufacturing and has created a large network of contacts for me that are able to provide career mapping advice. I have broadened my interest in future jobs. Corteva Agriscience™.
Working for Corteva Agriscience™ was a step out of my comfort zone. I had had a couple of small internships in agriculture, but nothing with as much responsibility as my professional internship did. I was given an important project. This step out of my comfort zone made me grow personally and professionally.
As I move forward with finding a career that fits me well, there are a few things I learned from my internship. One, don’t settle for something that isn’t challenging. Two, be in an environment where my co-workers want to see me succeed. Finally, choose a path that will allow me to be in an evolving position. So much of life is spent tending to a career, why not make it be something you love?
The most rewarding part of my internship was the opportunity to spend two weeks in York, NE for the Corteva Showcase, attended by leaders in agriculture from all over the state. These experiences have positively impacted my future career plans and I use the knowledge and skills from the internship as a student and a future employee in agriculture.

Have an Amazing Summer
Our summer employment opportunities range from full- to part-time and last up to three months. Throughout the summer, you’ll have the opportunity to complete challenging projects and learn from some of the most talented people in the agriculture industry.
We’re actively filling these summer jobs:
Detasselers
Detasseling involves removing tassels that grow on a corn plant to force cross-pollination. The steps involved include: finding the tassel, pulling it off, and throwing it to the ground. That’s all there is to it! But, it must be done right, or the crop will fail.
Every summer (late June or early July), Corteva Agriscience™ hires thousands of dependable people to detassel in teams that work for a few weeks. The team heads out in the early morning hours (between 5:00–6:00 a.m.) so be sure to fuel up with a good breakfast.
Ready to earn some extra money this summer?
Pollinators
Pollination is the transfer of pollen from one plant to another. Pollinators assist in the corn breeding process, ensuring the pollen is properly transferred. Our pollinators enjoy the rewards of a short season and competitive pay.
Pollinating usually starts in mid-July and lasts from 10 days to three weeks, consecutively. The work day starts in the field at approximately 7:30 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. But, the schedule ultimately depends on the weather and peak periods of development. There may be a need to work seven days a week – rain or shine.
